Veneerer

Responsibilities:

• Apply high-quality wood veneers to bespoke furniture and panel components with accuracy and care.

• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications to ensure finishes match design intent.

• Select appropriate veneer cuts and match grain patterns to achieve seamless results.

• Prepare surfaces and substrates, ensuring proper adhesion and finishing techniques.

• Operate veneer presses and hand tools with precision and efficiency.

• Inspect work throughout the process to ensure exceptional finish quality.

• Work collaboratively with the production and design teams to meet client expectations.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Veneerer or similar role within a furniture manufacturing or joinery environment.

• Deep understanding of veneer types, grain matching, and pressing techniques.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail.

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions.

• Familiarity with both traditional and modern veneering methods.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.

• A passion for producing high-end, bespoke furniture is highly desirable.
