Job Description
Installations Manager – Bespoke Joinery (UK Sites)
£45,000+ DOE | National Travel | Permanent
We’re recruiting an experienced Installations Manager for a high-quality bespoke joinery business delivering complex installations on live construction sites across the UK.
This is a site-first, hands-on role — ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is confident representing a business professionally on site.
The Role
You’ll lead the delivery of bespoke joinery installations nationwide, combining strong technical knowledge with visible site leadership, clear communication, and disciplined reporting.
While planning and coordination are part of the role, success is driven by on-site presence, problem-solving, and client confidence, not desk-based management.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Leading live joinery installations on site
-
Managing and motivating installation teams through example
-
Installing high-end bespoke joinery (doors, panelling, kitchens, architectural features)
-
Surveying, setting out, and resolving site issues in real time
-
Coordinating with site managers and other trades
-
Communicating progress, risks, and solutions clearly
-
Producing clear site reports, records, and photographic updates
-
Upholding strong health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
-
Recent, hands-on experience delivering joinery installations on live sites
-
Strong technical understanding of bespoke joinery
-
Confident surveying, setting out, and reading drawings
-
Comfortable travelling and working away from home when required
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Organised, methodical, and confident with reporting and documentation
Important: This role involves regular written reporting. Candidates must be comfortable producing clear, accurate records.
This Role Is Not For You If…
-
You’re looking for a workshop-only or office-led role
-
You want minimal site exposure
-
You’re stepping away entirely from hands-on installation work
What’s On Offer
-
Salary from £45,000+ (DOE)
-
Cash health plan and enhanced holiday scheme
-
Loyalty rewards and long-term progression
-
A site-led role with autonomy, responsibility, and variety
