Composite Laminator – Contract

Location: Norfolk, UK
Rate: £20–£25 per hour
Contract Length: 6 months
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (Overtime available)

Broadreach Recruitment is supporting a high-end UK yacht builder with the appointment of experienced Composite Laminators on a contract basis in Norfolk.

This role is suited to a skilled marine composites professional with a strong background in quality-led boatbuilding, offering competitive rates and the opportunity to work on prestigious, high-specification marine projects.

The Role

You will be working as part of a skilled production team manufacturing composite components to exacting marine standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Laminating composite materials to high specifications

• Working with a range of resins, fabrics and moulding techniques

• Hand lay-up and vacuum bagging

• Preparing and finishing components to exacting standards

• Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and production requirements

• Collaborating with colleagues to meet build and delivery deadlines

About You

We’re looking for a laminator with strong marine composites experience and a high standard of workmanship.

Essential experience:

• Proven experience in marine composite laminating

• Strong understanding of hand lay-up and vacuum bagging techniques

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Good knowledge of health & safety best practices in a workshop environment

Desirable:

• Experience working on high-end or luxury yacht builds

Contract Details

• £20–£25 per hour (DOE)

• Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week

• Overtime available

• Monday–Friday working pattern

• No weekend work required

• No accommodation provided

• Role open to UK residents only
