The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finish Painter / Sprayer (Lacquer Specialist) to join a specialist company delivering high-end bespoke interiors and furniture for the superyacht and luxury sectors.
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced finisher who takes pride in producing exceptional work and is confident delivering the extremely high standards required within luxury and superyacht interiors.
Working within a professional spray environment, you will be responsible for the complete finishing process across bespoke furniture, cabinetry and interior components.
Key Responsibilities
- Spray application of high-end coatings including high-gloss lacquers, matt and satin systems, stains, liquid metal and specialist-effect finishes
- Complete surface preparation, priming and sanding between coats
- Polishing and finishing to achieve flawless, mirror-quality high-gloss results
- Restoration and refinishing of existing yacht furniture and interior components
- Colour matching, repairs and re-lacquering
- Working with 2K PU, water-based and solvent-based coating systems
- Ensuring all completed work meets premium/superyacht quality standards
- Maintaining spray equipment and the spray booth to a high standard
- Monitoring materials and coating stock
- Working alongside skilled joinery and production teams to meet project specifications and deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Proven professional experience as a Spray Painter, Lacquerer or Finish Painter
- Background within yachting, furniture, automotive spraying, luxury interiors or high-end joinery
- Confident spray-gun application skills
- Ability to achieve exceptional high-gloss and mirror finishes
- Strong surface preparation, sanding and polishing skills
- Knowledge of restoration, repairs, colour matching and refinishing
- Experience with liquid metal or specialist finishes would be advantageous
- Excellent eye for detail and commitment to premium-quality workmanship
- Working-level English or Spanish
- Based within, or able to commute to, the Barcelona/Maresme area
Desirable
- Previous experience within superyacht or marine interiors
- Knowledge of specialist yacht coating systems
- Strong polishing and buffing experience
- Experience with specialist decorative finishes
- Driving licence
