Job Description 

Job Title: Marine Engineer

Responsible to: Managing Director

Location: Based in Flushing, Falmouth, Cornwall

Working as part of the shop floor team, you will be expected to bring your skills into the organisation to complete the varying projects in hand.

Specific skills required are fully skilled and current marine mechanical engineering on leisure and commercial craft engines and systems up to 1000hp.

Depending upon the strength of your skillset, you will be participating with other staff or leading in the delivery of projects across the spectrum of our activities.

Person specification

Function essential

• In depth and current knowledge of engineering and/or repair systems in relevant marine substrates and environments
• Deep awareness of Health and Safety principals and policies within a similar organisation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Full driving licence

Function desirable

• Hands on experience of systems of repair both electrical and mechanical
• Track record of customer service skills and/or training

1. Forty hour week Monday to Friday – 8am to 4:30 pm with ½ hr lunch break
2. Overtime available at 1 ½ x
3. 21 days holiday plus all Bank Holidays
