Location: Nottingham 
Pay: £13–£16 per hour
Type: Full‑time, permanent, 4‑day flexible working week

Our client is a well‑established bespoke joinery specialist based in Nottinghamshire, manufacturing high-end furniture, cabinetry, and architectural joinery for discerning private and commercial clients. They operate from a modern, purpose-built facility equipped with CNC machinery and a dedicated spray‑shop for specialist finishes

Role & Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual woodworking machines (panel saw, spindle moulder, edgebanders, routers, etc.).

  • Read and work accurately from technical drawings and cutting schedules.

  • Shape, cut, and finish wood components to tight tolerances.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleanliness of machines and workplace.

  • Collaborate with CAD/CNC designers to optimise machining processes.

  • Uphold quality standards and ensure components meet visual and functional specifications.


About You

  • Experienced wood machinist or joinery operator, with familiarity setting up and running CNC equipment.

  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings or cutting lists.

  • Detail-focused mindset and pride in producing high‑quality work.

  • Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines.

  • Team‑player attitude with clear communication skills.

  • Valid UK driving licence is preferred.
