Job Description
Interior Designer / Architect (Revit)
Luxury Residential & Hospitality | Chelsea, London
We’re working with a leading luxury interior design studio to recruit a Revit-proficient Interior Designer / Architect to join their interiors team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role sits firmly at the design intent stage — ideal for a designer who enjoys resolving interiors through proportion, joinery logic and considered detailing, while ensuring designs remain buildable and practical.
This is not a production-only technical role. The studio is looking for someone who actively thinks, questions and refines design ideas through drawings.
The Role
Based in the studio’s Chelsea design office (4 days in the office, 1 day WFH), you will be responsible for developing Revit-based design intent drawing packages for high-end interior projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing Revit design intent interiors packages that are coordinated, considered and buildable
- Developing spatial proportion, layout and architectural logic
- Designing and drawing:
- Bespoke joinery and furniture
- Coffers and ceiling treatments
- Key junctions and interfaces
- Material applications, profiles and transitions
- Resolving design decisions such as mitres, rebates, shadow gaps and unique edge details
- Exploring and testing design options in collaboration with senior designers
- Ensuring drawings clearly communicate intent to consultants and specialist contractors
- Working closely with architects, interior designers and workshop/joinery teams
About You
You’ll be a design-led Interior Designer or Architect with strong Revit capability and a refined eye for detail.
You will ideally have:
- 7+ years’ experience in high-end interior design or architecture
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
- Experience working on luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
- A deep understanding of proportion, materials and bespoke joinery
- Experience producing design intent (rather than fully technical) drawing packs
- The ability to balance creative ambition with practical, buildable solutions
- A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful detailing and interior craftsmanship
What’s On Offer
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary guideline: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Studio-based role in Chelsea, London (4 days office / 1 day WFH)
- Opportunity to work on exceptional luxury interior projects
- Collaborative, design-focused studio culture
- Long-term career development within a respected interiors practice
