Head of Commercial / Commercial Director (Group Level)
London (UK & US oversight)
£100k base | c.£150k package (bonus linked to profit & performance)
The Role
We’re working with a design-led, high-end interiors and manufacturing business delivering bespoke residential projects across the UK, US and internationally.
They’re growing quickly — currently achieving 30–40% YoY growth — with a clear plan to scale from £15m to £30m turnover.
They now need a commercial leader to bring structure, control and leadership to the commercial function as they scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of commercial performance across the group (UK & US)
- Drive cost control, margin improvement and commercial discipline
- Lead and develop the commercial / estimating / QS function
- Work closely with leadership on growth strategy and project selection
- Oversee tendering, pricing and contract approach
- Support the business in scaling sustainably while protecting margin
What They’re Looking For
- Proven background in commercial leadership (Head of Commercial / Commercial Director level)
- Strong cost control and margin management experience
- Experience working with developers / main contractors
- Background in joinery, interiors, fit-out or high-end residential
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
- Experience in scaling or high-growth environments
