Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Marine Finishing Technician to join a busy and growing marine aesthetics team supporting high-end vessels and yacht projects. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with experience in gelcoat finishing, machine polishing, detailing, and marine valeting who take pride in delivering a high-quality finish.

This opportunity would suit someone from a marine, automotive detailing, yacht refit, or finishing background who has strong attention to detail and enjoys working within high-end marine environments. Carpentry or joinery experience would also be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gelcoat repairs and finishing
  • Machine polishing and buffing of marine surfaces
  • Marine valeting and detailing of vessels
  • Preparing vessels to a high cosmetic standard
  • Supporting yacht refit and finishing projects
  • Using polishing and finishing tools/equipment safely
  • Maintaining clean and organised work areas
  • Supporting additional finishing or carpentry tasks where required

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within marine finishing, gelcoat repair, polishing, or detailing
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Experience using machine polishers and finishing equipment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Marine, automotive, or yacht industry experience beneficial
  • Carpentry or joinery skills would be a bonus
  • Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
