Now Hiring: Experienced Upholsterer – Luxury Bespoke Furniture

Broadreach Recruitment is seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join a leading British manufacturer of luxury bespoke furniture for superyachts and exclusive high-end residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on exceptional, handcrafted pieces, collaborating with some of the world’s most prestigious interior designers. 

 

The Role 

As part of a highly skilled team, you will be responsible for the upholstery of bespoke furniture, ensuring the finest quality finishes. Working with luxury fabrics, leathers, and specialist materials, you will play a key role in creating beautifully crafted seating, panels, and soft furnishings for some of the most exclusive interiors in the world. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

- Upholstering a variety of bespoke furniture, seating, and panels to the highest standards 

- Working with luxury fabrics, leathers, and specialist materials 

- Cutting, templating, and pattern-matching for precision upholstery work 

- Working from technical drawings and liaising with designers and cabinet makers 

- Ensuring meticulous attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship 

- Managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines 

- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards 

 

 What We’re Looking For 

- Minimum two years of experience in high-end upholstery or bespoke furniture making 

- Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and construction methods 

- Experience working with luxury fabrics, leathers, and foam shaping 

- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings 

- High level of attention to detail and precision craftsmanship 

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-quality environment 

- A passion for bespoke furniture making and a commitment to excellence
