Machine Shop Operative

We are working with a leading specialist in bespoke joinery and staircases, who are seeking a Machine Shop Operative to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a range of woodworking machinery (CNC experience desirable but not essential)
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Assisting with the manufacture of bespoke joinery products, including staircase components, to high standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a machine shop or wood manufacturing environment, ideally within joinery
• Understanding of wood materials and joinery techniques
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
