Cabinet Maker

Location: Nottingham 
Pay: £14–£20 per hour
Type: Full‑time, permanent, 4‑day flexible working week

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manufacture high‑quality cabinetry and bespoke joinery to full construction drawings (2D/3D CAD).

  • Operate both power and hand tools, as well as workshop machinery.

  • Work with various materials: solid hardwood, sheet materials, veneers.

  • Apply specialist finishes including polyester lacquers, water‑based lacquers, textured liquid metals, liming, French polishing, waxing, gilding and more

  • Ensure first‑time‐fit installations, collaborating with design and installation teams.

About You

  • Time‑served Cabinet Maker or Bench Joiner with strong hand‑tool skills.

  • Solid experience interpreting and working from CAD/technical drawings.

  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

  • Good numeracy, organisational and communication skills.

  • A full UK driving licence and hand tool kit are essential.

  • Team player with initiative – but able to work independently when required.
