Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Warranty Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation operating within a highly technical engineering environment.
This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating warranty service requests for newly delivered products, acting as the key point of contact for customers while ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors to investigate warranty claims, coordinate solutions, and identify root causes to support ongoing improvements in product quality and production processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical systems knowledge and experience within a complex manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for warranty service requests relating to newly delivered products.

Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and other resources to resolve technical issues.

Maintain clear communication with customers, providing updates on progress and managing expectations.

Manage and process warranty claims, identifying opportunities to recover costs from suppliers or subcontractors where applicable.

Liaise with Quality and Supply Chain teams regarding supplier performance and recurring issues.

Work collaboratively with internal departments to identify root causes of warranty issues and support improvements in production processes.

Utilise structured problem-solving tools (such as 8D) to identify and implement long-term solutions.

Monitor and track warranty costs, producing reports when required.

Provide occasional out-of-hours support where required to ensure urgent issues are resolved.
Requirements
Knowledge
-
Strong knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Understanding of integrated technical systems and manufactured equipment.

Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineered products is advantageous.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in customer-facing environments.

Experience

Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or technical production environment.

Practical experience supporting complex technical products or systems.

Experience managing technical warranty issues or aftersales support is beneficial.
Qualifications

No specific formal qualifications required, although relevant technical or engineering experience is essential.
