Electromechanical Fit-Out Engineer | Plymouth | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

Location: Plymouth, Devon
Salary / Rate: £17+hr plus OT and Benefits

Seeking experienced Electromechanical Fit-Out Engineers for a major engineering and manufacturing programme based in Plymouth.

These are long-term temp-to-perm opportunities working within a modern production and systems integration environment.

This role is suited to qualified engineers with experience in building and installing systems, not maintenance engineering.

We are looking for hands-on engineers who enjoy practical “on the tools” work and can demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical installation ability. 

The Role

You will be involved in the assembly, installation and integration of electromechanical systems, including:

  • Mechanical fit-out and assembly
  • Pipe fitting and routing
  • Equipment mounting and installation
  • Mechanical fixings and alignment
  • Low-voltage DC electrical wiring
  • Cable routing and terminations
  • Reading engineering drawings and schematics
  • Supporting final build and integration activities

Suitable backgrounds may include:
