About the Company

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of high-end bespoke fitted furniture for commercial projects. They deliver outstanding workspaces, hospitality interiors and tailored solutions for blue-chip clients and design practices across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join their commercial projects team.

 

The Role

As a Project Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth delivery of complex commercial furniture projects. You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, production teams and site installers to keep every stage on track, from design approval to final installation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a point of contact between clients, designers and workshop teams
  • Preparing project schedules, timelines and documentation for commercial projects
  • Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Coordinating drawings, approvals and technical information
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Supporting installation teams with logistics, deliveries and scheduling
  • Ensuring all project files and records are accurate and up to date
  • Identifying risks or delays and escalating where necessary

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator / Project Administrator role (ideally within commercial furniture, joinery, interiors or fit-out)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Experience handling multiple live projects and working to deadlines
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) – CAD knowledge an advantage
  • A detail-oriented and solutions-driven approach
