The Role – Bench Hand Joiner
As an essential member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for producing high-end bespoke joinery from technical drawings through to final assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture bespoke joinery from CAD and 3D Inventor drawings with a high degree of accuracy

• Work with a wide range of materials including MDF, MFC, solid timber, laminates, and solid-surface

• Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools to a professional standard

• Produce clean and precise assemblies with excellent finishing and edging

• Liaise with project managers, designers, and site teams where required

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in high-end joinery production

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists

• Proven background in bespoke, one-off, or small-batch joinery projects

• Strong knowledge of joinery methods and finishing techniques

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment

• Solid-surface and installation experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Bespoke Cabinet & Furniture Maker – Ashford, Kent
£33,000 – £36,500 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is a well-established, high-end furniture manufacturer based in Ashford, Kent. With a 25,000 sq ft purpose-built workshop and a reputation for delivering premium bespoke pieces, they produce exceptional fitted and freestanding furniture for a discerning customer base.

They are now looking to expand their team with an experienced Cabinet Maker / Furniture Maker who is passionate about quality and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong background in bespoke joinery and a sharp eye for detail.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building ultra-high-end furniture to precise specifications, using a mix of traditional joinery methods and modern manufacturing techniques.

Key duties will include:

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to construct bespoke furniture

• Working with a range of materials including solid timber, veneer, and sheet goods

• Maintaining a high standard of finishing, including surface prep and assembly
